Summer. Warm. Long days. Great light for trout spotting. Trout are looking up. Main hatches on the tailwater river I’ve been on: little yellow stoneflies; pmd’s; some larger caddis. Here are a few trout taken sight fishing with dries this long weekend…









I like the hold on your fish photos, I’m going to have to try that. I need some new angles!
Jim: When taking fish pics I land them along the shoreline/shallows…net them to control them, get on my knees, then slide them out of net and get a few shots….and try to get a few from above before guiding them to deeper water(like that angle/perspective). thanks for dropping in.
