Vic: The lighting was tough in terms of seeing through the water and many sections very thick (log-jamed), so in the 3 or 4 small fairly shallow pools I investigated didn’t see any life but I’m sure there are trout as only one half km up from main flow where 2 creeks/ flows converge. Other creek branch is larger and more water and hope to return before snow flies to check on some of its pools. Yes, very beautiful creek…kind of like way high up on West Castle.
