Simple Pale Morning emerger and dun patterns that I’ve been casting this summer. This hatch is still going quite strong on a few nearby tailwater rivers. And some small grasshopper flies I hope to use in the upcoming weeks.
Thanks for the ice fly porn! Just what I needed this Sunday morning. Sadly, I may have cast my last PMD of the season already, but this is a little bit of hanging on. Why can’t pmds be like midges and hatch all year?
Jim: Thanks for the comment. I always view your blog for the great trout you catch and rivers you visit, and you take great pics of the flies you toss and highlight them. Much appreciate seeing them.I rarely photo my flies stream side as my attempts, with my camera, are often out of focus. I do better (photos)when at home tying in controlled setting. Good luck rest of season.

Hi Robert,
Those flies look great! I’m sure they work very well. Could I put in an order for two dozen of each?

Vic: You bet! I’ll tie in exchange for tippet material and dry shake… Enjoyed your last post on your blog. Thanks for dropping in.
